Thanks to everyone who joined us for another fabulous Museum Opening Party. People dined on delicious pulled-pork sandwiches and pizza from Kissed By Fire and sampled unique flavors from Milk House Ice Cream, in between listening to throwback rockers Johnny and the Madmen, People also made a point of peruseing the new-look museum, with five new exhibits:
And in honor of this anniversary and to share the history of McHenry County, the Anderson Gallery will feature a unique exhibition called “60 Years, 60 Objects: Stories from McHenry County.” This exhibit will showcase 60 never-before-seen objects from the historical society’s collection.
