A growing oral history collection with interviews of McHenry County residents. Full audio interviews and transcripts are available online.

Many local organization records have been digitized, while a larger number remain in print within our library, including collections of organization records, business records, government documents, and personal papers.
Vertical files contain newspaper clippings, researchers’ notes, and other miscellaneous information. The collection is divided into numerous subjects, including biographies, architecture, churches, houses, and more.
