Pamela Kampwerth, Grafton Township

Position: Board Member

Pamela moved to McHenry County from Iowa 40 years ago and lives on a farm where she and her husband raised two children.

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Consumer Economics, Central University of Iowa, Pella, Iowa. Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois.

Pamela retired after 23 years at the Huntley Area Public Library where she held several roles including Head of Programming, Local History Department Manager and Friends Foundation Liaison. Her work at the library fostered a lasting interest in preserving and sharing local history. 

Pamela remains active in the community, volunteering for the McHenry County Emergency Management Agency Search and Rescue Team, the Huntley Historical Society, and the Huntley Library Friends Foundation. She is also a member of the Kishwaukee Trail National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

In her free time, Pamlea enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including gardening, biking, and kayaking.
