The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM, and Saturdays, 10 AM – 4 PM. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Members are free with a membership card.
Our private Research Library is open by appointment only; no walk-ins are allowed. Visit the Research tab to learn about and begin your research request.
The Historical Society office is available by appointment only; please call 815-923-2267.
The Museum and Offices are closed on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
